Le Clos de la Chesneraie is such a charming place to stay. We were given a warm welcome, our spacious room was most tastefully decorated in period style, the bed was very comfortable and the property had a delightful aura to it. A lovely, varied breakfast was served in such a pretty and gracious breakfast room. Le Clos is very ideally situated to many of the best known Loire Valley castles. A beautiful, romantic and highly recommended accommodation.

Friendly welcome.Very chatty owner who helped us with a picnic in a corner of the garden. We stayed in the garden room so we had no stairs to climb. Small shower in en-suite bathroom.Quiet location in a rural setting. Excellent breakfast.Easy parking.
Alexandra is the perfect host. Its spotless - clean, quiet and very centrally located. There is ample parking but if anything the rooms are beautifully decorated, area quiet and nice lounge to relaX.
Very close to Chenonceau Castle (10 minutes driving). Welcoming owner (she speaks English) quiet and beautiful place. The room was clean (maybe excepting few lazy spiders on the ceiling). Great breakfast, with a selection of French cheese and delicious home made jam. Free private parking in the yard.
All necessary facilities. Private access with parking in a quiet area on the outskirts of a small town.Delightful seating area just outside the room. Warm welcome , hostess readily available. Adequate kitchen was very useful as we arrived on a Sunday evening. Extensive breakfast provided outside or inside as required. would happily return.
Disappointing for our stay.
We book this appointment for a some days stay to visit friends in the region. Good location, with a secured parking. The check in time is 18:00-19:00 pm (very late), but the check out time is 8:00-11:00 am, 10:45am the owner will come to you to ask you to leave the apartment as early as possible, can not believe this kind of attitude and the way of pushing clients. Never see before. We feel we were not welcomed.
Great location, terrific host and wonderful grounds where we could relax. The rooms were large comfortable and facilities excellent. Parking was easy and everything about our stay was superb.
