The apartment was fantastic, very clean and very comfortable. Maxime met us when we arrived and showed us everything. He checked up later to see if everything was all right, which it was - the perfect host, taking care but not intruding.
The location is excellent, being only a 10 to 15 minute drive from the centre of Tours. It was hot and humid outside but cool and comfortable inside the apartment.

Perfect stop off when travelling through Europe! The hotel had sufficient parking, which was free, along with quiet, comfortable rooms. We are travelling with our dog which the hotel welcomed and even gave us bowls, blankets and treats for the dog in the room. We we're pleasantly surprised with how good the food was at the restaurant for dinner - it exceeded our expectations and we would return just to have dinner there again. The hotel had tennis courts and well kept grounds/forestry to walk the dog around.
The bedroom was light an airy with a view over the terraced garden and lake beyond . The chateau is set within private grounds, with swimming pool and tennis court, ample parking. Ideal if you are looking for a quiet or romantic getaway.
