Very friendly welcome with a drink and explanation on the history of the place. We enjoyed our stay and whenever we are in the neighbourhood, we will stay again!

We arrived in the evening, when it was already dark. A short drive from the highway Le Logis d'Arnière lies in the middle of fields, no lights close by. Arriving felt like time-traveling to the 19th century. All dark except the house, an elderly man (the owner who takes care of his guests himself) let us into a place with high ceilings, all wooden floors and stairs. A lot of tiny passages on the top floor, just like you imagine a huge country house in the 18th century. Only this one has modern comfy beds and running hot water. In the morning the owner, who was very nice and chatty, served breakfast either inside or outside on a terrasse overlooking the huge property. We were just there over night to continue our journey in the morning, but we were flashed by how different and overall nice this place was compared to a 'regular' hotel.

Amazing restaurant, always packed at night. Reception Helped me through my experience of breaking down at the toll booth. Amazing friendly staff went out of their way to help a guest. Brilliant. Even talked to the tow truck company and the garage and gave he a lift to the garage. Best hotel experience in France.

Wonderful annex bedroom and ensuite shower room and toilet which is very private and situated to the rear of the property. Lots of space in the room, extra seating/breakfast bar and tea/coffee making facilities. Comfortable bed, nice linen, well decorated and peaceful. Absolutely beautiful setting and the most gorgeous garden we have had the pleasure to visit in some time. Fabulous continental breakfast with home made jams, served alfresco in amongst the flowers and plants. Super friendly and helpful host. Relatively close (walking distance) to the centre of town, restaurants and tourist attractions. Hopefully we will have the opportunity to visit again.
