Self contained apartment on the ground floor of the owners property. Very nicely furnished, well equipped and clean and tidy. Owners were very friendly. Breakfast was served in their house and we had a lovely conversation with the owner (good practise of my French as her English was limited). Stunning old chateau, within beautiful grounds. The bed was THE most comfortable bed I’ve slept in!

This was the second time I’d stayed here and the setting is absolutely stunning. For someone travelling solo there is so much available within the vicinity such as restaurants, bars, spa, pool etc. The staff are always very professional and friendly and the rooms are gorgeous.

What a super little place! Les Pilotis is a very special stay. Although we could have stayed on an emplacement in our camper we chose one of the lovely chalets with its own little garden. Beautiful warm pool and spa facilities (sauna/hot tub). Our hosts Frank and Martine could not have been more helpful. Quiet pretty countryside but an easy bike ride into Cognac.
