The Laurels We stayed here one night February 27, but after that night wish it could have been for a longer stay. Paul and Peggy are the best hosts you could hope for. As I booked this stay in May 2022 for the February 2023 stay and in between my booking and the stay the open times of the house have changed they were nice enough to honor the dates of our stay. From the moment of arrival they could not do enough for us. Starting with the complimentary drink and you must book the dinner. It is an excellent meal handcrafted by Peggy from fresh. The room was warm, spacious and comfy. The bathroom was a wee bit tight but it is more than adequate. The house is a little off the beaten path but makes for a very quiet and relaxing stay. I highly recommend staying here if you are anywhere near Limoges. You shant be disappointed.

It's beautiful decorated, very comfortable and situated in peaceful surroundings which are a 2 minute drive from the local village and 15 minutes from Confolens. The hosts are light touch neighbours; next door if you need anything, but otherwise only seen coming and going themselves.
