This accommodation is seriously antastic. They have done an excellent renovation to provide a comfortable stay. The views were stunning. The atmosphere and facilities were truly perfect. Unusual location next to an aérodrome (not at all busy though) at the top of a very high hill. Despite the aérodrome it was quiet and peaceful with the odd interruption of the sound of landing and taking off but that didn’t bother us - added interest to our stay. The room was lovely, extremely clean and comfortable with a great decked area outside and easy parking in an open public car park right outside the property. The bed was blissfully comfortable and the little kitchenette was very useful including a tiny oven and hob, toaster, kettle and well equipped, especially as there is no restaurant on site although breakfast is available. It is fairly isolated but the town of Mende is a drive down the hill. The spa is available at extra costs and offers a great range of treatments but we didn’t get to have any due to only a one night stay.
