Joinville was a great place to break our journey home. A very pretty town on the Marne with an interesting history. Not somewhere we would have discovered if we hadn’t stopped off. Super U on the outskirts to stock up on food and fill up with fuel. Property is very chic, well equipped and extremely clean. The games room and outdoor activities kept the four teenagers amused. Nice Pizza in a small restaurant in the town overlooking the river. Beds for all six of us. My one gripe was that I didn’t get on with my pillow. I’ll bring my own next time - were sure to be back.

I was shown to my room which was lovely, big double bed which was very comfy to sleep & also a single bed in there too. The bathroom was spacious with a big shower room with an excellent shower very powerful which I like!! I booked my breakfast for 730am which was continental with nice French bread pastries, cheese, yogurt & fruit.
