The location was close to Amboise with onsite parking available. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet with bottled water available in the room. Our hosts were friendly, helpful and informative. Breakfast was delicious with homemade yoghurt, cereals, fresh squeezed juice and a selection of delicious pastries, breads and homemade cake available. There are multiple lounges with access to soft drinks, tea and coffee. There is even a billiard table available for use.
Patrick and Isabella were great hosts. Their English was great and we had many good conversations about culture, history and food. Patrick gave us excellent restaurant and activity recommendations. We would have loved to stay longer. Security at the La Closerie was excellent with a gated private parking area.
The house had everything we needed, even more: the baby-foot for kids. There are free parking places next to the house and a bakery 5 min away by foot. Just in front of the house there is a castle with a nice park. Amboise (and restaurants) is just 10 min away by car. A supermarket is 3 min away by car. The hosts gave us a handful of hints about the places to visit. So we are absolutely happy with our stay! Thanks a lot!
The property owners were very friendly and accommodating. The house is nice and the rooms are huge and very clean. The bed, bedding and pillows were super comfortable. The property is in a different village but close to Amboise. The property has private parking but there is also free off street parking just in the front.
A charming B&B within short driving distance to the town of Ambosie. We enjoyed a tasty breakfast every day of our stay and the hosts were helpful in pointing out places to visit within the area (chateaus, wine tasting sites, etc.). There was also ample parking.
Everything! Beautiful house, on site parking, lovely hosts, exceptional home cooked meals, comfy bed and fresh eggs from the chickens in the garden. superb!
