Lovely house with a large and beautiful garden. I had a very relaxing time at La Maison du Marchand. The room had a very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed sitting at the table in the garden under a tree reading a book while being surrounded by plants, trees and singing birds. I also enjoyed the breakfast with fruits freshly picked from the garden as well as the very kind and welcoming hosts.

We were so welcome and helped by the new owners of this hotel as there was a mistake with our booking. It was Saturday evening and all the hotels in 1,5 hour drive were fully booked. THE ROOM WITH A VIEW OF THE LAKE WAS STUNNING The food at the restaurant was very good, but we struggled with the menu as we did not speak good French and the staff did not speak English. It made the stay interesting and fun.
