Spacious, light, well equipped loft appartment. An imaginative conversion of a former knife factory situated in the old industrial part of the town. The lower floors are being renovated to reflect the building's former use. Close by are an excellent boulangerie and a cooperative farm shop. Be sure to visit these. This area of Thiers is steeped in the history of knife making. Free public car parking is available within 20 metres.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Good restaurant, very clean, wonderfully friendly, helpful staff, ample and easy secure parking. One member of the staff even moved her own car to give us easier access to a space. Everyone was cheerful and helpful. WiFi was good. Easy access to the autoroute but far enough away that we could enjoy the quiet.
