This B&B is located a 5-minute drive from Château d’Olonne and the sea, and features a self-catering cottage, a big garden with sunbeds and free Wi-Fi access throughout.

Annie, the owner, was the perfect host. Every morning she made us breakfast with selections of home made jams. Annie would give us all the imformation of local sights. Room was clean and comfortable with seating area outside overlooking the garden. Plenty of parking on property. Very good restaurants within walking distance of property and beach about 10 minutes drive. Cannot wait for return.

Set just 40 km from Casino of Saint Jean de Monts, L Atypique offers accommodation in LʼÎle-dʼOlonne with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a concierge service.

This place lives up to its name! Animal lovers will especially like it as there are numerous hens and cats, plus turtles in a range of sizes. The room/bathroom is an outhouse at the bottom of an artfully overgrown garden (the host, Moon, is a knowledgeable gardener) and the kitchen is an annex at the other end - with a table and loungers in between. A wonderfully relaxing spot. Thank you Moon for your recommendations for good local beaches and a truly amazing oyster restaurant. Also for sharing your passion for music with us. What a room - stuffed with memorabilia, especially relating to the mighty The Who. Thank you you old French rocker! We hope to be back.
