The breakfast was very good, continental with homemade breads, cakes and jams. Delicious yoghurt and apple puree with cereal. The dinner we had was also homecooked and excellent. We arrived quite late the first night and the host booked us in to a lovely restaurant in the next door village.
The countryside was very pretty with a nice view while eating breakfast . The host was kind and helpful. The rooms are beautifully done and it was good to have a pool that was very clean and warm.
A recently renovated bed and breakfast set in Montipouret, La cabane features a garden.

It was lovely after I found it, the Garmin took me to a farm down the road, but they directed me down the road and I found it after driving past the first time. the local restaurant was 3 miles way and very friendly. I picked it as it had a 10 for breakfast and was the most expensive stay on the holiday, breakfast was simple and not the best on the trip, no meat or cheese as I was given at another stay, that was a 10. This was ok not what I was expecting.

It was a converted farmhouse which has been renovated to a very high standard and we stayed in a separate converted building in the grounds which had two large en-suite bedrooms and a comfortable lounge. The pool and hot tub were available for us to use. It was well appointed , clean and very comfortable.

Fantastic trip, the gite was exactly what we expected, a farm, not too far from a restaurant, and shops.
The accomodation was what we wanted, quiet, not bothered by anybody unless we needed assistance. The facilities were perfectly clean, shower was always hot, all appliances worked perfectly. Our host Garance looked after us perfectly, anything we needed she provided. Our trip was to view a derelict property I had purchased, and Garance found contractors and hired them for me, she has been a perfect contact for me, for which I will always be thankful, I can't say enough about how the gite worked out for my plans, I can highly recommend the Gite de la Lioterie.
