The owners were very helpful and accommodating about arrangements for handing over the keys, and took the time to walk with me to a good place nearby to get supper. The apartment is very well equipped and comfortable, and the location near the abbey church of Saint Savin is perfect.

The staff was great -- very accommodating. For an "old fashioned" hotel, all the amenities and comforts were present. The room was simple but large and very clean.

Old castle next to a river. Very charming, nice garden. We stayed in one of the old towers. The owners are very welcoming and are happy to tell you more about the castle. Breakfast was outstanding. Home made jams, fresh baguette, one of the best brioche breads we’ve had.
