The place is meticulously clean, beautifully decorated. The panorama is gorgeous. The host Patrick cooks a wonderful breakfast and can distill mountain knowledge in a pleasant and friendly way. The whole experience amounts to a wonderfully genuine mountain experience.

Located in the Savoy region, between Chambéry and Albertville, close to nature parks, the 2-star Hotel George is the ideal stopover on the road to the ski resorts or Italy.

The owner was the best! We arrived 4 hours late (11.45pm) due to traffic conditions, and the owner was very kind and understanding. The hotel is traditional and charming and full of character in a very quiet location on the Isère River. The rooms were huge and with the high ceilings you find in traditional buildings - fantastic price/quality ratio. Great breakfast too. Highly recommended!! Thank you very much!!
