It was a pleasure to spend a restful night in this quiet yet characterful chateau surrounded by farmland. My room was spacious and very comfortable with a well equipped en suite bathroom and walk-in wardrobe. The owners were unable to be present, but I nevertheless received a very warm welcome indeed from their friend. A fulsome breakfast was provided.

The lady who owned the house was helpful, and very good about finding me a place to make my bicycle safe. The breakfast was good, with home made cake.

Quaint cabin by a lake in quiet forest area. Restaurant/bar on site open in high season. Lunch menu was excellent but restaurant not open in the evening we were there. Good cooking facilities in the cabin and supermarket a couple of miles away. We were on cycles so was a bit of a faff to have to go back out again to shop after a very long day in the saddle.
