The Château is beautiful, including the decoration and those gorgeous halls, you are free to visit anywhere inside, and with the good weather like we had, such a Château is magnificent in the sun. It’s really worth going all the way to a hesitate and enjoying the fairy tale experience.
Especially we loved the lady at the front desk, she brightened up our trip and gave us the feeling of being a friend. Her name is Rose.

On arrival we were met by a lovely Border Collie who sat at the head of the drive and literally guided round the building into a free car parking space. This is quiet, peaceful secluded property set in the centre of an interesting small town. Excellent facilities, scrupulously clean and somewhere one could immediately relax. Our host was welcoming and helpful offering a welcome drink and advice on where to eat that evening. Breakfast the following morning was excellent; fresh fruit, home made jams, excellent coffee and of course a cheerful good morning greeting.

Beautiful setting and accommodation. The owner lives on the farm, so she was available but not in our way of enjoying the property. This is a farm with fun animals and birds. The owner (sorry i have forgotten your name) was friendly and helpful. One can tell that the owner takes pride in what she does. Lovely setting with wonderful accommodation. Our hosts were charming and friendly and nothing was too much trouble in the care they offered. A lovely home-cooked meal was offered to us and breakfast was amazing.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
A stay in a French chateau has always been on our bucket list and we took the opportunity during our recent French roadtrip. D'artigny was located ideally near places we were visiting in the Loire, with ample free parking, restaurant and facilities with plenty of character and history.
Comfortable room. Bathroom and toilet were separate which is unusual but a bonus. Plenty of free parking onsite, with a locked gate after 9pm. Excellent restaurant immediately opposite, kitted out like a ski resort and providing Savoy type cuisine. The guy on reception was very helpful
A good overnight travellers hotel. No frills but very clean, reasonably priced with secure parking and adequate breakfast. Close to the pretty little town of Montbazon.
We stayed here at the beginning of June, on our way home to Spain. This is such a welcoming little hotel. The owner, Patrice, is so friendly and helpful, even going out if his way to find us a room that suited our needs, when everything else was booked up. We've stayed here a few times now and it never disappoints. There's secure parking and an interesting restaurant just across the road.
The breakfast is very good, and I love the butter he serves.
What a place - a really nice set up and property. The breakfast was amazing and the host gave us bags to take the items we didn’t eat. The rooms were superb and overall ideal to refresh on an overnight stay. The host was great and very accommodating. Secure parking for our motorcycles too.
