This is a genuine family owned & run Chateau which has been handed down over many generations. It is situated in a quiet location out of town, as a result it is completely undisturbed by traffic or neighbours.
Not many rooms so it’s never going to become a busy environment during your stay.

The ambience was amazing. The host is very accommodating and it clear all around that she has put a lot of effort, thought and money into converting the property into a really amazing facility. The room was beautiful, the bed was very comfortable, breakfast was delicious with some home made pastries and jams, car parking was secure.

The apartment is a short walk from the main square in this lovely town. We can't comment on staff as we didn't see anyone as access, etc. was all codes. The information we received prior to the visit was very good. We found free parking in nearby Place de Ramparts.
The first flor apartment itself is nice and a little dark, with a well equipped kitchenette, including coffee machine. There is convenient and free parking in the street outside, and the historic centre is only a 5 minute walk away.
A tasetfully renovated old building with a large garden. Super friendly hosts, comfortable bed and delicious breakfast. Free parking in the courtyard. There is no carpet in the room (if you tend to get cold while walking on the cold floor, don't forget to bring your slippers).
We arrived at the end of a long and difficult drive, after which Domaine St Hilaire was the perfect destination. Hosts Coralie and Olivier could not be more charming and helpful. The building has been beautifully renovated and decorated. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was exquisite. Other plus points: secure parking with electric charging points; peace and quiet; short walk to village with good restaurants; plus of course the Loire itself. This place represents amazing value and we’ll definitely be going back.
