Location literally couldn't have been better - we were just a stone's throw from the Basilica and the Museum of the Somme. The apartment is small, but perfect for two. There's everything you need in the kitchen if you want to make a meal and you can sit out in the garden to eat it if you choose to although there are also stools and a bar top in the kitchen. Large bathroom with two shower options. Combination sitting room and bedroom with sofa and table. Well laid out and amazing value for money. While I am on, can I also recommend the Watteau patisserie at the top of the road and Meli Veloes on Rue Carnoy where we hired a couple of e-bikes to visit the surrounding area.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Four of us loved our stay in this beautiful Chateau. Catherine greeted us with refreshments. Her breakfasts were amazing. Dominique and Catherine were very helpful with directions. So peaceful in the countryside, just birdsong. Beautiful rooms. Comfortable beds. Car parking near front door. Fantastic recommendation to eat at nearby "Auberge de la Vallée d'Ancre".
