Spotless accommodation , good location, ideal for looking around the old town and the surrounding area. It was so disappointing to find so many empty and derelict shops and buildings, it takes a lot away from what the location could be.

The property is in the centre of the medieval part of Parthenay, which should not be missed. It felt as if we had been taken back hundreds of years, and the only thing that was missing were knights on horseback riding down the street. Great bar just down the road, wonderful hostess Veronique who provided safe storage of two bikes, ice cold bottle of water on arrival, and a comprehensive but not intrusive demonstration of the property facilities.
