To get to Casa di Emma we’d had a hard days cycling so this place to us was like an oasis. Emma is very friendly and keen to help. We were too tired to cycle to the next settlement to eat so bought food in the epicerie at the back of the bar which is open as long as the bar is open! Excellent fresh fruit and veg and local artisanal products. It is not a Spar shop! We bought some special sausages for our meal and fresh bread. Oh and local strawberries. And wine. Room has magnificent views. In fact the whole place is wonderful

I did really like the surrondings and the view from our hotel. The garden and swimming pool were well-kept. There was also a small gym and sauna. We really did enjoy jacuzzi with beautiful view of the mountains and forest. The hotel had also a lot of parking spaces. The staff was extraordinary friendly and they spoke english and polish. Christopher is a true gentleman. He knows everything of everything, even his marmelade is better than José who has a restaurant down the road. Frederique is a wonderfull woman. Warm and friendly. The house is a very special place. You can feel the history the moment you come through the frontdoor, and become a part of it. The brother of Christopher occasionally visits and he is the funny one. He is sometimes very present, but if you make him laugh he is your friend forever. His jokes are the best on whole of Corse.. shiva the dog is an old soul. She watches over the house and its inhabitants. To visit La Marlotte is a true experience. It will make your life richer. Dont wait too long and make a reservation there. There is no time like the present!.
