This family run hotel could run a course on what great looks like in hospitality. From arrival, dinner, breakfast and departure there is no room for improvement when you have got it right! The dinner alone was a standout experience. The decor in the entire hotel was classy and suited it. There is also a SPA however we did not have time to try it out - so there is an excuse to return asap. Thank you for a wonderful stay - it was my birthday treat!

The location of Chez Coco is in a fantastic position within the walled town of Riquewihr. Breakfast was absolutely brilliant and the hosts hospitality was exceptional despite the language barrier with us only having limited French and the owners speaking no English! Great location- the view from the kitchen window across the vines to the Black Forest is stunning. You are a short walk into the town which has a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants. The garden is a lovely spot to have breakfast or dinner. On-site off-street parking is provided and is essential since nearby parking is charged and often full.
The house is tastefully furnished with lots of crockery, cutlery and glassware which means you don’t need to run the dishwasher every day.
Riquewhir is busy during the day with lots of tour buses bringing people to the area. There’s a little train to take you round the sights but it’s an amazing place to wander around the narrow streets. In the evening it quietens down a lot.
Veronique is an amazing host. She is extremely helpful and provides lots of information on what to do in the area including maps and leaflets on activities, sights, walking and cycling routes, bars and restaurants.

Pleasant location, 3rd apartment located on 2nd floor, roof level, well equipped, good outside light (velux) nice view, enough space for us (3 adults and 2 kids), parking places, restaurant availability if requested, spa. The staff were very nice and helpful.
I traveled with a car, so it was a good way to spare a couple of euros for the room as well as for the parking. My objectives were a long walk through Colmar and a hike around Lac Blanc/Lanc Noir in Vosges (which I cordialy advise to take). The location of the hotel just between those two point was perfect. It also can be a good idea to visit the hotel's restaurant - I was positively surprised with it.
Comfortable apartment with everything you need. Based half way up the mountains so easy reach to the towns or peaks. Fresh clean sheets in the wardrobe to make the bed so you know its new. Plenty of parking space, I used one of the car ports. Hosts are always very helpful if you require anything. Will certainly be coming back.
