A lovely hotel well positioned just north of the river but well located for the old town a short walk across the bridge. A nice apartment tucked away on a quiet street not far from the train station. The apartment occupies the first floor of the one-storey house (the ground floor is a garage) surrounded by small garden, which guests may also use (there are some chairs, a small table and a parasol, but we haven't really used it, as the weather was too hot to sit outside during the day, and we preferred to stay inside after dusk to avoid mosquitoes).
The apartment itself is accessible through the short flight of narrow stairs, so some minimal fitness is needed to bring the luggage upstairs. It has a living room with fully equipped kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a (separate) toilet. The apartment is decorated in a mixture of industrial and land-house style, very nicely fitting the immediate surroundings and a overall feeling of the town .
The location is perfect for the train connections to the castles of the Loire valley, and also convenient to explore the town of Tours.
The hosts are great, they maintain friendly communication and you can reach out to them anytime, receiving prompt response. The very detailed description for the check-in and checkout were also provided.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The hotel has plenty of free parking on site. Internet speed is good. Bed is comfortable. Room size is big for France; a great size for 2 people. Hotel seems new, and the rooms are all very clean. Happy to see free water in the minibar.
It was a start of two cycling weeks at Loire river. We had to leave the care for later pickup coming back from cycling via train. The parking area is gated. For the Hôtel Operator no Problem. Due to that the hotel was perfect pick.
The big advantage of this hotel is the very spacious and in great condition rooms. Queen size bed which was very comfortable, good materials and a separate toilet which is very unique. The swimming pool will serve its purpose in winter time as with temperatures over 23 degrees, it is impossible to use as it feels like a glasshouse. Parking is a big plus as well and you avoid this headache of nearby like cities like Tours or Amboise. Great location as well if your plan is to visit the chateaux in east and west direction.
