We were surprised at the size of the property and grounds. The main house is beautiful.Our chalet(chambre d’hotes) was immaculately clean with plenty of room inside, great power shower, self catering facilities if you needed them but we ate out in the evening so didn’t need them. Underfloor heating, was nice but also had air conditioning in the room if you’re staying in the summer months.
Breakfast,which is served in the conservatory, was delicious, with more than enough to eat and drink. Francois, our host, was friendly and made us feel really welcome.
Although we didn’t use it, there is an outdoor swimming pool in the garden which was surrounded by sun loungers which would be a great place to relax in summer.

Beautifully designed apartment. Great use of space and also well equipped. Practical and stylish. It's right in the middle of town, by the bakery and mini-supermarket so also a fab location. The walk up to the castle at sunset was a wonderful extra bonus!
