The architecture and interior design of this series of buildings comprised by Le Clair de la Plume was exemplary: I had already visited it in Grignan as a tourist (they have a gift shop with their own products) and knew how stunning it is. Service was impeccable, the breakfast was sumptuous including some lovely champagne. There were wonderful touches such as locally produced bespoke foods & toiletries. The south facing views over the village and chatea were equally stunning both during the night & day. Centrally located, unfortunately it wasn't warm enough to try the outdoor pools. One call to reception for a local affiliated restaurant booking.

Super breakfast with lots of choice - different delicious breads and croissants. Fresh fruit juice and fruit. Homemade cake and cheeses. And during the day coffee and tea offered free of charge with an honesty box for wine etc.
Isabelle is an excellent hostess. Friendly and always ready to be of service.
The old mill beautifully furnished and the spacious grounds with the old millpond and pool are delightful. The perfect, peaceful place to relax. And very near to Grignan abd other oretty villages in the Drôme Provençale.
