We found the apartment to be a comfortable and modern yet sympathetic renovation of the first floor of an old chateau, other areas of which are set to be similarly updated, although this in no way impinged on our stay. The apartment is well equipped with all modern conveniences enabling one to self cater easily, and it is comfortably furnished and quiet so that a good night’s sleep is ensured. The position, just outside the town, is close to a supermarket and boulangerie and it is an easy walk into the centre. There is plenty to explore in the area around Meslay, we particularly liked Chateau-Gontier. Altogether this is a great rental and one which we would readily endorse.

Fantastic place to stay. And the town on the hill, St Susanne, is just great! Everything was super well organised with all needed instructions. The property is beautiful with a garden and walking area. The room is clean, well equipped and comfortable.

A smashing little hotel, hugely welcoming and in a pretty village. Fascinating if you are into Native American culture but very good even if you are not. Secure motorcycle parking was kindly offered within the internal courtyard.

Self check-in, easy access to the key box and the host gave us the key code in good time. It was about 30 degrees during our stay but the house was cool. Plenty of space, everything was well thought out and included things sich as foil, salt, and pepper, which made our stay easier. The house was lovely, the shutters kept the heat out and the facilities were fantastic. Clean, well decorated and comfortable. We booked for 2 nights as it was really good value for money we only stayed for one as we had a very late ferry on the second evening. I think this is perfect as a weekend getaway.

Parking opposite property on dead end street. Short walk into very nice town. Excellent hosts met us when we arrived, very well equipped for longer stays (we only had the night as a travelling stop over, would like to come back for longer). Nice enclosed courtyard terrace.
