Very friendly and supportive host, even in summer a cool house, beautifully decorated, a nice relaxing garden and well-situated to explore the area in the directions Dordogne and Haute-Vienne.

We had a lovely 5 night stay as a UK family, two adults one 7 year old. The area is so peaceful and secluded. The accommodation was clean and spacious. The local shop is just up the road, and there is a bar/cafe and a pharmacy too. The WiFi worked great and the shower was nice. There is a worktop oven which cooked our fresh pizzas and warmed croissants etc. Beds were comfortable also. We will certainly stay again.

We had a wonderful stay. Charlie and Carolyn were exceptional hosts. They made us feel like "god" in France. When we arrived we found some drinks, bread, cheese and more to get us started and make us feel welcome. The house had everything we needed and was very cosy decorated. We had fun at the pool and could order a drink at the private bar. We loved the peaceful environment and our hosts had lots of recommendations for places to visit. We definatly recommend staying here!

Fabulous house very comfortable. Lovely location very quiet. Exactly what we wanted and hope to be back one year.
Constructed between the 13th- and 16th-century, the Château de Mavaleix is set in a garden with centenary trees, featuring a tennis court and outdoor swimming pool.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The apartment was brand new! It is spacious, very clean and nicely decorated.
It had everything we could possibly need and more.
Our host was very helpful and extremely pleasant.
We will definitely visit again.
The parking is also private and safe, which is a great bonus.
We thoroughly enjoyed our very comfortable stay...thank you!
