The themed rooms were clean, spacious and full of interesting quirks. I was expecting a simple family room but we effectively had one whole side of the property with 2 bedrooms and a living space/kitchen. My boys loved the Lego displays (as did I of course).
Mathilde and Guillaume were welcoming and very friendly and offered plenty of advice about the local restaurants. Our only regret is that we didn’t have time to enjoy the jacuzzi, but it’s a great extra perk to have.

Lovely cottage with quiet surroundings. Mina and Thierry are great hosts, we were welcomed and shown the place. It is nicely decorated and you can see that much thought went into stocking and decorating it. We immediately felt like home and have really enjoyed our stay. There is a garden opposite the house that can be used as well. The place has everything you need.

Fantastic apartment in our beloved Chinon - so clean, modern, spacious and comfortable. Location is brilliant, great views at the castle and the river. Public parking is just at the door. Communication was great, easy self check-in. We loved everything and will come back!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
It was lovely to be met by our friendly host, Christian and to be shown the many facilities of the gîte. Parking was very easy for us, and we have a VW Campervan so that is not always the case. The bed and seating were very comfortable and the gîte was spacious. A lovely bottle of wine was a bonus and we saw interesting birds in the garden, including a hoopoe.
Some lovely châteaux are within easy reach and the surrounding area very quiet. There was an abundance of crockery, cutlery and glassware and anything we needed seemed to be there.
