The accomodation is in the middle of French fields and countryside. It is calm and quiet. We enjoyed it to the very last bit. We were looking for a small chateau that would offer a familiar vibe. This was perfect. We had breakfast together with other guests, croissant and baguette. Your options are not infinite, but they are all good and tasty! We also wanted to try their dinner so we booked for the second night, it was great and also very good value for French standards. We also had a selection of cheese later but I couldn't eat anymore, so our host was nice and brought them out for me for breakfast!!!
I love animals so I particularly enjoyed that there were dogs, cats and horses around, many of them sooo friendly.
The bed was comfortable, the room offered enough space and it was all clean.
Some people here comment on the fact that it is a negative experience how familiar is this place... but if you don't like it and need more privacy you should go elsewhere. I assume those who come here are aware that they are guests at someone's home, so take it for what it really is, and for that it was the best!

Pierre owns the property and greeted us on arrival - very friendly and wanted to make sure we were happy with everything. I loved the property which is very original throughout and maintains charm and history. It's not in a restored state, but I like this and it shows its patina. The beds were comfy, the water was hot and the breakfast was lovely. I'm going to stay again for sure on my way down and up through France. Plenty of parking. Great value for money.
This was an amazing find - a small chateau in the French countryside not too far from Rouen and well within an hour's travel for the Dieppe ferry. There are extensive grounds and a large car park and the large rooms are very much original. The breakfast was also amazing and our host was very welcoming
The landlord Pierre is a really nice guy, very helpful and speaks very good English. Beautiful building and grounds. Plentiful breakfast, large warm room, comfortable bed, plenty of parking and great value for money. I would definitely stay there again.
