We've stayed with Vivienne and Stephan previously, just as a stop-over, and came back here (returning from a trip) intending to spend a couple of nights in the area. Vivienne and Stephan are lovely hosts. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed (with separate entrances). The house is located in a very quiet village set in beautiful rolling countryside studded with charming little villages. Vivienne and Stephan have directed us to some really good local restaurants. Additionally, the breakfast they serve is excellent (look out for Vivienne's home-made jams). I'm sure most tourists zoom past this area, to get as far away from the chunnel as quickly as possible but that's a mistake: the countryside is lovely and the Opal coast is wild and has beautiful beaches. I can recommend La Villa Belle wholeheartedly.

Great location with a friendly greeting from Cindy. Room was clean and bright with some character. Bathroom was excellent. We were able to use the kitchen facilities which is very well equipped. Excellent breakfast, with too much for us to finish!
Secure parking and very convenient for channel tunnel.

We have visited many times and hopefuly will continue to return. We usually book for 2 nights, so that we can get a break between driving through France (largely pleasurable) and the horrendous prospect of driving to the North of England on largely inadequate and hopelessly overcrowded English roads. Breakfast and dinner are available but we prefer to use the well-equiped kitchen to prepare something when we feel like it. Wonderfully relaxing rural retreat.

This is our second visit to the gite. It's perfect for a stopover the night before catching the train back to the UK. It has everything you require. Comfy beds, beautiful decor and this time we were able to lounge outside in the sunshine. Perfect recovery after a long drive north.
