It was in a beautiful part of the country. The pool was lovely, the breakfast was superb, with cheese, ham, egg if required, fresh bread, crispy croissants, jam, choc spread and tea or coffee. The hostess couldn’t have been nicer or more willing to help. The price of the room and breakfast was absolutely excellent value for money.

A beautifully restored old house in a quiet location which had recently been renovated to a very high standard.
There was a safe off street parking area for my motorcycle.
The room was large and beautifully decorated and furnished with a great modern bathroom and fantastic shower.

The owner was very helpful on hand at a minutes notice answered our questions, even arrived on the property to sort the television so we could watch the football. Brigitte was a warm, wonderful and welcoming host. We became friends and spent a lot of time talking and this really helped me with some things I was struggling with. She lives 5 min ( max) walk from the station but the house is very peaceful and the garden is a haven of tranquility. Beautiful to hear the bird song in the morning and gaze at the night sky. She also made me a salad and herbal tea from her garden. The location could not be better for exploring Quillan and the surrounding areas and the house has a lovely energy. There were mosquito nets on the window and it was good to sleep with the cool air.
