If there was a league table for how a chambre d'hote should be, then this would be at the top! Everythying about this place exudes a level of quality only others could hope to match. The room is big and spacious, with a separate WC and shower room. The bed is of epic proportions and there was ample room for my large 2m size frame, if my partner was with me, she would also have been able to fit on the bed with room to spare. The room also comes with A/C, which at the time I visited was heaven, it was generally very hot and humid when I travelled and so having this was just a pleasure. The windows have electric shutters, so there was complete and utter darkness when sleeping! The TV is large, and it is a smart TV, so I could just login to my netflix account and chill out for the evening. If this wasn't enough, there is also a kitchen area to warm things up in a microwave or a small hob to cook plus a table in the middle of the kitchen area to sit down to eat - really, this place is amazing. All of this quality would not have been possible if it were not for the amazing host that speaks English/French/Spanish! The breakfast is downstairs and caters for all tastes, I was provided with an exceptional breakfast for which I was very grateful! If you stay here, you will absolutely not be disappointed.

This is my third stay at the hotel. The staff are so.friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little basic but the rooms are a good size. The bathrooms are well equipped (the shower head was marvellous) and everything is scrupulously clean. The copious breakfast us in a pleasant light room. Very importent for us,, pets are welcome and made to feel it. Highly recommended.

Staff were really friendly. We had been given an interconnecting room for our daughter which was great and all rooms were next to each other (we booked three in total). The rooms were very clean and although basic, had everything you needed. Breakfast was great with lots of choice available even towards the end of the breakfast period.

Everything ranged between pleasant and very good; everything but the staff. I asked from the receptionist to book me a taxi for the train station early in the morning (5.15 am); I had to be at CDG early in the morning to catch my flight back home. The taxi never came so I had to find another phone number to order a taxi. Please note that nobody was available to help at that time at the reception. Also I'm not French and I can barely speak French so I couldn't find a phone number for taxis easily and unfortunately the level of communication in English over the phone with the taxi agency was also a challenge. So, this was VERY FRUSTRATING AND STRESSFUL! I don't know what went wrong but it seemed that something didn't work in the communication between me and the receptionist or between the receptionist and the taxi driver.
