We stayed at Le Clos Galan for a weekend house party nearby, so came and went regularly, but access at pretty much anytime worked well. When at the house, the gardens and pool were a lovely relaxing place to be. The room was enormous (but then it was really a family room), with separate bathroom and loo. Willian and Eric were excellent hosts. The breakfast table was splendid, and it is only a pity that I don't eat like to eat cake at breakfast time.

This is the place to stay if you are looking for genuine ' French Period' chic. The old family house has been beautifully done up and you are right in the middle of the town square in the charming small village of Galan, the hosts are very thoughtful and kind and the breakfast served outside is second to none. Definitely recommend over the other Le Clos, which I have also recently stayed at (unless having a swimming pool is important to you). There are 3 restaurants (one of which is a 3 Star Michelin) all within walking distance of your B and B.

Se loved everything about our "discovery" of Maison et Jardin Talinou, the situation, the hosts, the hastily rustled together perfect evening meal ( because we initially said "no" to dinner, but then arrived hungry! ), the welcoming of our dog Alfie and the gardens are magical too. Will we return?....Oh yes!

This was a stopover location on our way across France. We booked"le Bateau" for a unique experience as we have stayed in many hotels in the past and wanted to experience something different.
Our hosts were very kind even though we were late due to motorway delays and showed us around the facilities - the boat itself, a decking area over the water, an external BBQ area, a children's playground with a children's boat and restaurants within 50 yards. Perfect for families.
Highly recommended, clean and unique. The hosts cannot be recommended enough. Book a night and enjoy.
