The stay started with a warm welcome from the hosts who made you feel like family rather than guests! The house was very authentically french. The food was fabulous served in the large farm kitchen with other guests for company and wine included.

The terrace has a lovely view across the park and it's lake. The children enjoyed the basketball court, which can be seen and shouted to from the house. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and our host was really welcoming and helpful. The town has everything you need (including a big supermarket and outdoor market on Wednesday), although we didn't go out in the evenings so can't comment on restaurants or nightlife.

We had 3 rooms as there were 7 of us for 4 nights,the rooms were clean,cleaned daily as well,and comfortable,the garden itself also beautiful.
The staff that I met(Sylvie,Fern and Julie)were lovely,they all spoke english(with Fern and Julie telling me they’re from the Uk as well)very kind and always with the smile on their face and nothing was to much trouble for them.We didn’t eat at the hotel as we were in St Hilaire to visit more family and went out all day until near midnight.

The room and bathroom was well appointed with enough space for a family of four. Nice to have a kettle in the room too! Breakfast was fine and just what was needed to start the day. Hosts were friendly, but we also felt we had our own space. Accommodation was very nice and based in a quiet area, but not too far away from amenities.
