It’s simply the most amazing space; cosy and full of charming little details with lamps and furniture and artistic touches. Lovely homemade apple juice was in the fridge on arrival courtesy of Regine who is a wonderful and welcoming host. Spacious and comfortable living area, a fully equipped kitchen which we enjoyed cooking in as everything needed was there, even olive oil and balsamic vinegar for the salads. The bed was very comfortable and we slept really well - not the slightest disturbed by the bit of traffic passing by, the nights were peaceful and quiet and during the day not a problem whatsoever.
Air conditioning or a fan would be nice in warm weather - at least in the bedrooms; but we slept well nonetheless.
We could leave our bikes in one of the outbuildings so not visible for others and staying dry which we appreciated very much and we enjoyed using our bikes in the lovely surroundings.
We loved our stay in Regine’s gite and only wished we’d been able to stay for more than 4 nights.

One of the most impressive stays that I had although it was for one night.
Eric was very welcoming and he booked for us a table for dinner at a local restaurant when we asked for suggestions.
Next morning we had a French breakfast with baguette and croissants and jam.
The property was beautiful and spacious. Everything was clean and tidy.

Ferme de Marie is an 18th-century farmhouse, just 15 km from Saverne. The owners often give you fresh eggs, home-grown vegetables or freshly squeezed apple juice depending on the season.

Rarely have we had such a lovely stay, the garden is enchanting with little nooks where you can always find shade or sun between the garden's many plants while ducks and geese roam freely.
Our apartment was small but nice, but the stairs to the first floor were very steep (you don't have to have difficulty walking). However, it is possible to rent 2 other apartments.
Our host was also fantastic, we were always met with great kindness and helpfulness.
The location in northern Alsace worked fine for us, we got to see everything we came for.

Nice small town in a very green and quiet area. Wonderful to chill out and rest. The house is spacious and well maintained. There is a small garden in the courtyard. There is also a tiny shared kitchen and free hot drinks at the entrance (vendor machine quality).

Fantastic holiday home with the delightful host Eric making us feel very welcome. The home is very tastefully decorated with comfortable beds. There is a private terrace for the apartment where you can enjoy a drink,.meal or the great breakfast. The location is very good for reaching Strasbourg via road or public transport or for exploring other parts of the local area.
