Really great location near to Amiens and also close to the WWI memorials. The gite is really well appointed. Spacious, very clean and all the creature comforts you could wish for. The bedrooms are very good sized. The main bedroom has a large double bed and a smaller double bed, then the second bedroom has a good sized double room. All served by a bathroom that has a great walk in shower. The kitchen has everything including a cooker, dishwasher, microwave and utensils. There's a comfy couch and dining table. The outside space is very pretty. The hosts were super friendly and welcoming. They have a pet cat and dog and are very dog friendly. There is great parking on the road at the front, two steps from the front door and then the hosts offer secure parking off the road behind the locked gates, which was great. Demuin as a town is very peaceful and wonderfully quiet.

The host Françoise and Frank were very helpful. The breakfast was great. So many tasty things to eat! From the local bakery and homemade. I also like how Françoise explained many things about Villers-Bretonneux and how she showed us the way to the memorial.

The chateau is an amazing building and the inside is beautifully styled, plus the history of the place is incredible. Loved the entrance with the floors, wooden stairs with the rounded steps and the bottom and the marble fireplaces. Felt amazing to open the curtains in the morning. Go for the breakfast in the morning! Worth the price and with local products.

Excellent accommodation, private off road parking, comfortable rooms and well equipped apartment. Very friendly hosts and great location for exploring Picardy, visiting Amiens or an overnight stop when travelling north. We would certainly visit again and can without reservation recommend this property.

There was no breakfast and no dinner either as the restaurant was closed. But a lady called Adeline kindly came to let me in and showed me to my room. I particularly enjoyed hearing the cocks crow in the morning. But they wrote to tell me the restaurant was closed but too late to change my booking. No other restaurants open for miles. I liked being able to open the window and the hit water in the shower.
