Although the host offered us free onsite parking we thought driving there through the historical centre might be challenging. Instead we chose public overnight parking (very cheap) close by opposite the Hotel de Ville.

This place is a gem for a stay in rural Ariege and a base to tour . it consists of an apartment in what was once a farm. the dwelling is superb in its comfort, amenities, spaciousness and view of the surroundings. there is a charming garden with an elegant outdoor gathering space and a small swimming pool. This is one of three apartments in a corner house. The street was quiet and pleasant. Parking in one of the nearby spaces on the road was easy and felt safe. The town centre is an easy ten minutes' walk away. The apartment was comfortable, well-equipped and well-organised. Information and communication with the owner were particularly good. I enjoyed my stay.

Staff were excellent. At check in and also in the morning when we were pushed for time. Provided a free coffee and were incredibly helpful.
