Great location, spacious gîte with fascinating and tasteful decoration. In a quiet end of Rocamadour, with a lovely view across the valley. Helpful host after all sorts of dramas with getting a taxi to and from the accommodation (due to Rocamadour being blocked off for the hot balloon festival - which we were unaware about until we arrived that weekend)! Good to be aware of this if you are arriving on the 4th weekend of September. A wonderful surprise to see the hot air balloons around Rocamadour, but also a bit challenging with crowds and transport!

Her apartments are in the quieter part of town up near the sanctuary and it was perfect for our first time in this lovely place. I loved staying at this hotel. I felt so at home and the view from my bedroom was so beautiful. My every need was seen to. On request I was given a kettle for my room and had the use of the refrigerator. The Manager spoke fluent English and this made all the difference to my holiday in Rocamadou!! Would definitely go back there. Such lovely friendly kind staff!!

The owners were very kind and the apartment is in an excellent location halfway down/up the hill, with a beautiful view. Note that the owners speak only French and that the road to the apartment is very steep with tight switchbacks (also is marked “sauf residents”). We loved it though - great adventure and the host Jean Louis and his wife were gracious and lovely, even helping with dinner reservations. We’d love to stay again!
