The host was exceptional. We had planned a bike trip, but an issue left us without bicycles. She kindly drove us to the city for dinner and picked us up afterward. Very authentic and traditional room with shared kitchen dining room. The staff were very helpful on arrival. Free parking. The bedroom was small compact. With shower behind the room divider, very strong shower. Use of fridge and was lovely grounds to walk in.
Have used many chambre d'hotes in France in the 85-100€ band and this is one of the best (can only think of one other [in Trpyes] to compare it with). Good location, just a 3 minute drive from Cheverny. Pleasant host. Safe parking at the rear of the property. Really pleasant room and very clean, Good breakfast.
Nice modern apartment in restored old building right next to chateau property. Easy access, free reserved parking. Short easy walk to restaurant and boulangerie/patisserie.
A bit off the beaten track so when we arrived in the dark a bit hard to find. But a real gem. A very nice room and comfortable bed, large ensuite bathroom with shower. Everything very clean. Great breakfast too (with choice of having it in your room or in the dining room) and the owners were very helpful in finding us a place to have dinner in the surrounding area. Large off road parking too. In short, everything we wanted and more than we expected.
The couple that rents the rooms are very nice and gentle. They prepare you a delicious breakfast in the morning.
The rooms are very pretty and clean. The location is very good from various castles but it is on the road, a little far from the closest town.
There is no noise at night and the free parking lot is safe. Good Wi-Fi.
The gîte is very well renovated, maintained and equipped with lots of character. Lovely courtyard with seating area and shady cart shed for parking. Exceptionally clean with stylish kitchen and bathroom. Very welcoming host. Restaurants & boulongerie nearby (check early week opening/seasonal closures), Le Pinocchio was excellent. More shops and restaurants in Cœur Cheverny, 15 - 20 minute walk. Ideal to visit Loire châteaux with two minute walk to the famous Château de Cheverny with innovative 2022 Tintin exhibition.
