The refuge de athena is a lovely place to stay, very comfortable and relaxed, with kitchen, playstation, netflix etc. Eric was a fantastic host and he and his partner made the group feel very welcome. He was incredibly informative and helped us find a local bike repair shop and also ordered us pizzas (our collective French being pretty weak). Would definitely stay again!

Great modern room, industrial style. Very comfortable beds and shower. It is quiet and the room itself can be very dark, which adds to the comfort for sleeping. Nice fresh French breakfast and good coffee. Host was great.
The place itself hosts three rooms now and is still a work in progress, but this actually adds to the charm in my opinion, actually makes me wonder what might be added in the future. Would recommend it to others. We stayed with 4, of which 2 are kids.

The location was excellent for visiting Giverny. Our room was large, breakfast was excellent and we took advantage of the Table d'Hote dinner since we were arriving in the evening after a long day. It was delicious. Parking was very much appreciated and spacious. Lovely hostess.

Both the breakfast and evening meals were delicious (the best Quiche Lorraine I have ever had). Gaelle, the host, was extremely pleasant with excellent English.

There was a limited supply of tourist information. Secure off road parking in the courtyard of the property. The hostess was extremely welcoming and very attentive - without being intrusive.
