Our stay at Hotel Saine Victoire was magical. A gorgeous, but not fussy, modern boutique hotel. Stunning scenery, amazing food, welcoming and attentive staff. Secure, easy parking. One of our nicest stays ever in Europe. We would love to return.
While not cheap (particularly if you eat in at the restaurant), the cost was not unexpected given high season, quality of the hotel and the excellent food - for what we got, better value than some of the other 4-star hotels we booked in France/Italy.

The locations, the hosts were exceptional helpful, cheerful and everything was immaculate.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The host is incredibly kind and helpful. We arrived late and she gave us some pasta to cook. Location is great for nature and quiteness, otherwise there is nothing to do. Garden is nice with safe parking. 15 mins car to aix en provence.
