Great place for overnight stay - room had everything needed for self catered picnic (supermarket a couple of 100m away) and hostess took dishes away to wash for us - couldnt ask more !! Breakfast included home made yogurt - delicious. Fabulous countryside views for outdoor dining - even a dip pool available it seemed (tho we didn't use it !) Private bathroom and toilet exceptionally clean. Excellent value. Thoroughly recommend

This place is exceptional, from the moment you step foot into it it feels like getting a warm embrace of your mother, it feels like home, the design and finish of the restoration work is1st class and the interior is very well accomplished and you can tell that the hosts have put a great deal of effort in. The pool was very clean and welcoming with lots of outdoor space.the grounds are the views are sublime.it is so well suited to couples too, my wife and I stood in the pool watching butterflies dance across the well groomed lawns and the stood together at night gazing at the stars in the dark skies, a moonlit night would have had a different aspect but just as beautifull.the hosts were warm and attentative and very pleasant to hold a conversation with. But they gave us room to feel like their home was ours too. So thankyou both. My advice is seek this out and visit, you won't be disappointed.

The tranquillity of the location whilst still being close to supermarkets and good road links to interesting places to visit. There are also excellent walks nearby in the very safe, peaceful environment. The cottage is comfortable, clean, well laid out, and feels authentic. Excellent kitchen with direct access to natural outside areas with a sense of space. Good wifi netflicks, etc. Pools are good with sun trap for relaxing days.
