Sainte Croix is out of the way of everything but La Besace was a jewel of a place. Aga, our hostess couldn't be more friendly and made you feel welcome. Dinner was available on site which was good French home cooking and provided the opportunity to meet other guests. I would definitely recommend.

I stayed at Escapade de Vauclair whilst walking the Via Francigena, for which it is conveniently situated. I enjoyed a warn welcome and a relaxing stay in this modern, comfortable apartment . The breakfast was excellent. I cannot recommend it too highly!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The location is great if you travel by car, and the parking is free. We stayed in the Rosa Room in the tower but I would call it a suite (a pleasant surprise!). It was spacious with lovely views. The bed was super comfortable and there was a kind of jacuzzi bath. There is also a swimming pool outside though we did not use it. We really enjoyed the food, especially the dinner.
Olivier is a very kind host and very helpful. He booked our dinner in next door chateau which was 5 min walk away and excellent

Everything - the warmth and generosity of Olivier's welcome when we arrived, on-site parking, the use of the pool, the facilities in our room (including air-conditioning), the peace of the location, the ease for dog walks in the adjacent woodland, the closeness and quality of the (separate) restaurant next-door, the superb breakfast, easy access to/from A26.

The property was set in a peaceful, quiet and very attractive rural location. The amazing historic small town of Laon was a ten minute drive away with relatively easy free parking. The host Olivier was incredibly helpful, thoughtful and kind and has created a little oasis of peace and tranquility. There is an indoor pool and plenty of places to sit and relax in the grounds of the property. Our stay was just one night as we travelled through Europe back to the Channel Tunnel. It was a perfect stop off and I would not hesitate to stay again.
Beautiful building in a lovely location. Plenty of secure parking. Superb restaurant. Helpful staff in particular Justine, who helped us out with communications with a local garage.
A lovely château outside Laon which is well worth a visit and just a few hours from the Eurotunnel for visitors crossing from Uk. The rooms are spacious and stylish. There is a restaurant which is not cheap but is high quality. Ample parking.
Loved the spacious room and balcony and got plenty of use out of the jacuzzi on our spacious balcony! Good parking outside accommodation and nice breakfast.
This is our 2nd stay here and hopefully we will return again- we have recommended to friends who also loved it.
