We loved the hospitality of Stephanie and Jean-Paul as soon as we arrived. The garden and view is stunning and the house is very charming with a comfortable bedroom and modern shower room. Overall our stay was perfect, Jean-Paul served a delicious breakfast with home made jams from the trees in the garden. Incredibly good value and would recommend to anyone!

We had an exceptionally friendly and accommodating welcome from our host, despite booking with very little notice. Nothing was too much trouble and our every need was catered for. The chateau has been tastefully and eclectically renovated to provide very comfortable accommodation. So nice to be able to sleep with windows open thanks to custom built insect screens. Nice bed linen. Good wifi connection. We had a delicious home cooked evening meal with nice wine and lovely fresh croissants for breakfast.

The country setting with the hens and bees and birds was wonderful and peaceful. But the best part was our joyous, friendly and welcoming host Martine who prepared wonderful breakfast with home made jams and croissants and fresh fruit! We are so happy we booked a dinner on 2nd night as she made a special four course feast on the lovely terrace. A lovely memory and superior to any hotel! We will be back!

The location is great, very close to the center of the village. The bed was comfortable and there were many useful things in the kitchen, like a hot plate, microwave, plates, etc. The place is spacious. Les Rives du Plantié was a lovely oasis for our first night in France. We had requested two rooms close to one another and were given adjoining rooms, perfect! Our daughter had her independence and privacy without us worrying! We ate in the hotel's restaurant, the food was excellent. I do often prefer meat-free options when eating out, and this can be a problem. Les Rives du Plantié was a deliciously pleasant surprise. I had a mezze salad platter, which was, in all honesty, the best salad I have ever had. The team were very accommodating to all of our requests and patient with our poor French and very kind to our daughter. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean we all slept well. The location was quiet and beautiful. It was a fabulous experience for our first night in the country - and it set the tone for a lovely week.
