The apartment was comfortable, with the entrance facing the courtyard with table and chairs and to be sociable with the other guests and the family who were super lovely. Their two dogs were just so cuddly and lovely. The swimming pool was large and comfortable. The area has many villages to visit and activities to perform, kayaking the Charente was a highlight.

Sebastian and Karin were wonderful hosts who greeted us as if we were part of their family. The chateau has an old world charm appeal. Our room was spacious and had all the conveniences needed. Breakfast had a variety of choices to choose from. The croissant was the tastiest I had in France. Karin is an excellent cook and served us a 3-course meal (extra cost) that you could only have in a 5-star restaurant. She was so kind to also give us extra baked cookies for our travels the next day. You will not be disappointed staying here.
