Mel and Hywel are superb hosts. We had a fantastic dinner on our first night and platter on our second night. Breakfast was perfect. All in all a great stay.

Located in Port de Vallée, 23 km from Angers, Le Mouton is set in a 17th century building and offers a swimming pool in its garden as well as a hot tub.

The hosts were incredibly friendly. Our suite was charming and comfortable. The breakfast was good and the evening meal was exceptional and good value. The constant offer of drinks was very generous. Recommendation to visit Brissac chateau was good. Place very peaceful and hence restful.

Absolutely loved it stay here. The house and garden were stunning, the village beautiful, the room large and comfortable and our host (Pascal) was so nice, friendly and accommodating. The location too is excellent with Angers, Saumur very close and Nantes to far away. Pascal provided plenty of information on the area and booked us into some terrific and fun restaurants. Basically it was our best stay in France, I could not recommend this place and its host enough.

Moulin de Gaubourg is a guest house in a former watermill set on a wine-producing estate, with a shared lounge and a terrace offering views of the vineyard.

This was a little gem! The room was just right for our family with little touches of luxury in the jacuzzi bath. The hostess was lovely and chatty. We were the only ones there after a wedding so it felt like really personal service.

Lovely room and facilities. Large sitting room/dining area with tea and coffee available. Breakfast included. Microwaveable meals available aswell which were locally produced and tasty. Natalie was an excellent host and couldn't have been more welcoming.

Lovely large room with very large comfortable bed. Located in a good spot to explore the lower part of the Loire. The owners were charming and extremely helpful and provided a sumptuous breakfast each morning. Would recommend highly.
