Everything to like!!! Our hosts were so welcoming and fun! The gite was cosy, the fire was burning and our host took time to show us around. Sadly we only stayed for 1 night, but there was no rush to check out. The gite was located in the woods, it was so quiet and peaceful with lots of paths to walk our dog!! Total chill out! The accommodation was well equipped and thoroughly clean! Oh and their dog is too cute! We hope to return on our next trip!!

Beautifully tranquil setting - horses in the field, cats in the garden, a friendly young collie in the house, squirrels - all presided over by the warmest, kindest hostess I have ever met.
A large comfortable room, a spacious shower room with plenty of hot water, and a delicious breakfast.
The property is an easy drive to Brantôme where there are numerous eating options and well worth a visit or two.
We were sorry to leave, but will definitely return.

Small but comfortable, clean, quiet (apart from adjoining rooms shower etc) room and very friendly host.
Lovely continental breakfast which was great value for money. Very convenient for walking into Brantôme.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
This is a stunning property in an amazing setting. It is very ‘olde worlde’ as you would expect. Staff are friendly and polite. We ate there on one night and the quality of the food is excellent, the restaurant has got it right. Do make sure you double check the openings if booking as it doesn’t open every night. Rooms are spacious, beds comfy but stick with the old fashioned theme, there’s no air con so it can be warm. The pool area is great, parking plentiful, all in all we enjoyed it.
