The host was very kind and available throughout our (short) stay, both for guidance, adjustment of the check-in, as well as breakfast ordering and last but not least good discussion. It feels like a step back in time in this traditional bed and breakfast, yet the amenities are modern and it felt like a luxury hotel.
Alix welcomed us in her home, with a traditional and historical decoration, and enlightened us with her knowledge of the place.
The garden is splendid and the property is hidden from the street, with 24/7 access via the portal down the path.
We stayed in the external house, built following the decoration of the villa. Full comfort!
The breakfast in the dining room is excellent, yet simple. Alix was available for all our needs, and even offered delicious home made yoghurt and pain perdu. Coffee, tea, fresh croissant and bread, home made jam; France in a nutshell.
Book for a longer stay if you can, we for sure will!

The location of the property was perfect for an afternoon drink on the terrace looking over to the stunning Chateau de Pierrefonds. Only a short stroll into the heart of the village, it was peaceful and comfortable and I would have happily stayed longer.
