Large property, very airy, very spacious, very bright in a beautiful extensive garden front and back. Surrounded by fields of sunflowers. It is extremely well equipped, the kitchen has everything one needs and more. The wifi worked perfectly. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. It is a beautifully restored old building but we had no real window to look out if.
Set in Loches and within 600 metres of Chateau de Loches, Best Western Premier Hotel de la Cite Royale features a bar, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Everything you could need in the one room. Tea, coffee, sugar, milk, condiments provided. Good cooking facilities. Two outside tables, one by the river. Use of large garden was a real bonus. Very quiet. Very pleasant and helpful hosts. Ab;e to park the car on the premises. A pleasant 20 minute stroll into Loches, a lovely medieval city. Beaulieu itself a very interesting old village, well worth exploring.
Fantastic location, with Loches a very pleasant 20-25 minute walk away along the river and across the meadows. The property is joined to the owner’s house. there is covered outdoor patio space with access to the lovely pool.
The lounge and bedroom are very comfortable. there is parking on a drive at the front.
