Five star location. Without a doubt. The vineyard is stunning, the old buildings are gorgeous and the views are perfect. Not sure I can think of a better located pool and pool bar. We wanted to stay there all day. The spa is brilliant and the facilities are, generally, of a very high level. We had a duo scrub and massage which was one of the highlights of our mini-honeymoon. Our room was large very cool with the quiet AC and had a gorgeous private terrace. The team left us a bottle of champagne which was a lovely touch.

To be able to stay in what was a 15th century tavern is now a lovely renovated apartment was a highlight of our holiday. You could feel like you were a local. The Tram was very close and a day pass was the way to get around. Loved it. Check in was good.

The owner was v kind - he kindly let us in at 10 am early as my sister and I had been let down with nowhere to stay the previous night. He really looked after us with a wonderful breakfast and offering tea and coffee during the day. V good rooms, we had one each and both were clean and well furnished

We had a lovely stay at Villa Magnolia. It is very calm and tranquil, and we enjoyed our breakfasts and swimming in the pool.
It's not in the centre of Montpellier so we used the excellent tram and buses to get around. Definitely worth getting a transport pass!
There also aren't a lot of options for dinner within walking distance, but the Villa does provide a helpful guide with suggestions.
The staff were very friendly and provided great service.
