Very friendly couple, couldn't do enough for us. We thank them for their hospitality. A beautiful location on a quiet country road a few kilometres out of town. St Jean Pied de Port is a pretty place, worth spending a few days in.

We loved our stay at Gure Lana, Christian and Genevieve were wonderful hosts, Christian has an amazing sense of humour which was a welcomed surprise. Our room was large, clean, quiet and with a balcony and the view to the mountains was great. Breakfast was fabulous, with baked goods, homemade marmalade and jam and the best omelette ever. One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.

Great location, just outside St Jean Pied de Port, a beautiful medieval walled town. It is also on the road to Biarritz, though very quiet. Lots of rafting activities on the river near the hotel. Lovely clean room with good bed and bathroom. Plenty of parking space and the owner invited me to park the motorbike under cover in case it rained.
